Word from Benoît Légaré – Vice-president of the Montréal Science Centre

The Montréal Science Centre is known for its entertaining, surprising and thorough approach, and the programming developed for the Eureka! Festival is very much in keeping with this philosophy.

Montréalers greeted the first four editions of the Eureka! Festival with great acclaim. Indeed, this major outdoor event at the Quays of the Old Port attracted over 50,000 visitors last year.

This fifth edition brings back key elements that made the first three so successful: lots of free activities, accessible for the whole family, and an outdoor venue. But there are also significant additions this year, including several new scientific collaborators, thematic tents, original shows, conferences and discussions with enthusiastic researchers, and workshops galore.

The Montréal Science Centre is proud to be associated with the private and public partners of this project, namely the Conférence régionale des élus de Montréal, the main initiator of the event.

Have a great Festival!
